Conversions

When choosing the right conversion kit for your mower there is currently only ONE Solution on the market that we recommend. Don’t be fooled by the companies online claiming that they have a certified Propane Mower Conversion Kit or that their kits are patent pending. This is a very serious decision to make and safety should be your number one priority.

We have seen way too many instances of lawn care companies trying to cut corners over the years to save a buck and they don’t get what they pay for or in some cases their mowers don’t even work at all. Fortunately there are many new programs in various states that are available and in some cases can actually cut your conversion costs down to almost nothing.

EnviroGard’s “Low Polluting Lawn Mower” meets all current and future emission requirements by the Environmental Protection Agency and California Air Resources Board. There is up to a 60% reduction in smog forming emissions and 80% reduction in toxic emissions compared with diesel and gasoline fuel.

Gasoline is one of the dirtiest and most dangerous fuels – behind diesel – for its emissions, especially carbon monoxide & Nitrous Oxide – a mixture of oxides and nitrogen. Conventional lawn mowers pollute as much as 40 automobiles. As a result, many cities have banned the use of commercial mowers before 1 p.m. on “ozone action days.”

Besides the huge advantages of lower emissions, Propane is on average 30% less expensive than gasoline or diesel fuels. The savings are increased with no spillage, theft, or contamination concerns that occur with other fuels. This is real savings in your pocket!.

In addition to new “factory” propane mowers, EnviroGard also offers Certified Conversion Kits to convert lawnmowers and other gasoline powered equipment to operate on propane. These Conversion Kits are available for Kawasaki, Honda, Briggs & Stratton, and Kohler engines ranging in horsepower from 11hp to 37hp. EnviroGard – Cleaner & Greener Lawn Care Technology
